February was a month of travel. In Australia, Dr. Julia Meis-Harris gave a talk about our project “Food for Future – Towards sustainable hospital catering” at Prof. Yoshihisa Kashima’s lab at the Melbourne School of Psychological Sciences. Building on this, we are planning a joint project in the field of environmental health psychology for this year.
Unfortunately, due to inclement weather, the second planned lecture at BehaviourWorks Australia (Monash Sustainable Development Institute, Monash University) was canceled. Nonetheless, Prof. Liam Smith managed to meet Dr. Meis-Harris for a coffee (or two) to discuss our shared interests in promoting sustainable and healthy behaviors. We are also exploring potential collaboration opportunities with BehaviourWorks Australia.
We hope that this collaboration will contribute to the research and promotion of healthy behaviors and look forward to the possibility of more exciting projects and partnerships on an international level.
