Human Medicine (StEx.)
The postgraduate master's program Global Health Risk Management & Hygiene Policies is offered by the University of Bonn in cooperation with the Institute for Environment and Human Security (EHS) at the United Nations University (UNU) and is largely aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
The profession of midwifery involves working with pregnant women and young mothers. Since 2020, this profession has now been academized and is offered as a bachelor's degree program.
The dual training provides theoretical and scientific knowledge as well as practical parts to care for and accompany women before and after birth.
Human medicine provides basic knowledge about bodily functions and human diseases. The focus of the study program is the acquisition of skills for medical action and the acquisition of skills in diagnostics as well as the therapy of diseases. Another focus is on health promotion, prevention and rehabilitation.

Students are prepared for employment in research or for a career in a related medical or biological field.
Dentistry is concerned with the detection and treatment of dental, oral and maxillofacial diseases on a scientific basis. It also includes malocclusion and missing teeth.
