Previous assemblies:

Thursday, 07.03.2024

Thursday, 09.02.2023

Friday, 06.05.2022

On March 7, 2024, the Sustainability Assembly took place for the third time in a row and provided an exciting exchange on current developments in the field of sustainability at the university and UKB.

Once again, numerous interested parties and sustainability stakeholders were present at this year's Sustainability Assembly to discuss current developments and plans in terms of sustainability at the university and UKB. Both online and in person in the lecture hall of the DZNE at the UKB, various areas of activity and those responsible reported on the status quo and their commitment to this central topic.

In addition to the Medical Dean's Office, GB6 'Facility Management' of the UKB and Team N of the University of Bonn, many other stakeholders such as Anesthesiology and GB 4 Purchasing presented on the topic of sustainability. Prof. Wachten and Ms. Vonderheit also spoke about the new special exhibition “One World - Your Health” in the Museum König as part of the science communication of sustainability.

Following further presentations from the funding pot, Prof. van Wynsberghe gave a lecture on “What impact does artificial intelligence have on the environment?” and reported from the Sustainable AI Lab.

The participants came together on site for a get-together afterwards and rounded off the event with vegan catering provided by L&D Catering.

The Sustainability Assembly takes place once a year. As every year, participation is open to all those interested in sustainability.
